• I, __________________________________(purchaser) agree to purchase a ________(male/female) Golden Retriever from Maria Crosby with Golden Jewels from Crystal and O'Ryan's Christmas 2009 litter.
• I understand that I have _______________ (i.e.1st/2nd ) pick from the sex that I have chosen and that I will be able to choose my puppy with the assistance of the breeder’s recommendation after the puppy has been vet checked and given its first vaccinations around the sixth week.
• I agree to pay $2,000.00 for the puppy with $500.00 at time of reservation that is non-refundable and the remaining balance due upon receiving the puppy. I agree to make all payments in the form of cash, a cashier’s check from my bank, or a US postal money order only (no store money orders) and made payable to Maria Crosby. I agree to mail the first $500 within 3 days from the time I receive this contract and to make the final payment on or before receiving my puppy. I understand that I may also use Pay Pal but will need to add the additional 3.62% fees. I understand that all monies are non-refundable.
• I agree to pick up my puppy between the 7th and 8th week after birth in Springdale, AR.
• I understand that my puppy is sold to me on an AKC "limited registration" basis only which means my puppy is sold as a PET and not for breeding purposes. I agree to have my puppy spayed or neutered within a timely manner. I understand that I will receive my puppy’s AKC registration papers as soon as I send a copy of the veterinarian receipt to Maria Crosby as proof that my puppy has been spayed or neutered. This is necessary to maintain the quality and reputation of the breed.
• I understand that I am recommended to have my puppy checked out by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving my puppy. If something is found wrong with my puppy, as to not being a good PET, I may return my puppy and receive a full refund if checked within 72 hours. All veterinarian and transportation expenses are my full responsibility whether I return or keep the puppy.
• I understand that special care is taken through health clearances to prevent any hereditary defects, but in the extremely unusual case that my puppy is prevented from being a PET due to severe hip dysplasia, blindness, or heart issues, then I understand that I may give my puppy back to Maria Crosby with Golden Jewels and she will pick a puppy to replace my puppy from the next available litter of the same type of Golden Retriever with similar quality. This 2 year Pet warranty requires a second veterinary opinion from a non-affiliated veterinarian’s office. Replacement does not cover transportation nor does it reimburse for vet bills.
• I understand that my puppy will be de-wormed, vet checked, and given its first series of vaccinations before I receive my puppy.
• I agree to take full responsibility for all of my puppy’s feeding, shelter, and health care needs appropriately for his/her lifetime. I agree not to chain my puppy outside, and to provide appropriate fencing and/or supervised leash protection for his/her safe exercise. I agree that my puppy will be allowed indoors with the family at least part of the time. If at any time in my puppy’s lifetime I can no longer provide and care for him, I agree to offer him/her back to Maria Crosby with Golden Jewels at no charge for appropriate placement into another home.
