July 23, 2008 Litter
This was Diamond's last litter before she passed away on October 22, 2008. She had 8 beautiful puppies, two females and six males. Several wonderful families adopted her puppies as well as two guide dog organizations from Texas and California.
"Gracie Anne" adopted by the Bain family
"She is SOOO smart! Currently she can sit, go down, Sit calmly while the treat is slowly coming to her and not jump for the treat, high five, roll over, stay, Leaves it when told to leave it, comes when called to come, LOVES car rides, walks beside me on a loose leash....and only 3 months (a little over). She just loves to learn. I work with her about 4 times a day in training. She looks so forward to those times. We are definitely buddies. She is with me all day, everyday. ... Gracie is the first puppy in Oklahoma to pass her CGC test and adult CGC test at only 6 months. She's getting ready to be featured in a dog magazine for her outstanding accomplishments at such a young age." says Lisa Bain. Below are recent photos of Gracie with her CGC award, "professor" photo, professional photo, and her praying stance! Enjoy!

Guide Dogs
Three of our puppies are in the process of being trained as guide dogs for the blind. Meet "Sammy" with Guide Dogs for the Blind of Texas. Two others are with Guide Dogs for the Blind of California and are being trained in Colorado. We have current interest for our puppies with Therapetics Service Dogs of Oklahoma.

"Newton" adopted by the Daily family
He is doing great! He went for his first long walk on a leash last night, and he did really well. He is a big hit with the neighborhood kids :) He started going to the door when he needed to go out the very first day we brought him home, and he is starting to understand "Sit," too. He is such a smart, sweet dog, and we couldn't be happier with him.

This past week our puppies began eating puppy food mixed with yogurt and water. They slicked it up!

The puppies are getting very curious now about the "world outside of their whelping box."

We have begun paper training. It is amazing watching them crawl to the "potty side," do their duty, and
crawl back on their blankets. They are so smart!!!!

December 6, 2006 Litter
Diamond's first litter was born on December 6, 2006. She had 11 gorgeous puppies: 7 boys and 4 girls. Diamond got in her whelping box and delivered her first puppy smoothly before we even knew that she was delivering. From that first puppy on she was a wonderful mother. She took great care of her puppies and was very gracious to all of us humans who wanted to help her care for her puppies. Our family took turns staying up throughout the night the first couple weeks making sure that her babies got plenty of milk, kept warm, and didn't scoot under mama. The kids had a lot of fun with all of the puppies as they joined us with our Christmas celebrations and birthday parties. By the time these puppies were adopted, they had numerous hours of personal attention and care.
